Did someone say "MORE SHOTS!!!" Why yes, yes they did!
The Sherlock Holmes pub:
Dennis and Tans showing off their new facelifts:
Lovely pic of Bridge and Becs:
OK, I don't know what sort of protest group went to The Sherlock Holmes pub before us, but we found their signs. I still can't work out what the heck they were protesting about...
Either way, we strongly supported it:
Especially Dennis:
Ohhh group shot! Grant got each pub to sign the monopoly board as we went around. We all signed the middle of it as well:
Ohh, kissy wissy!
Guys, looking hard as usual:
Just like me and Marta:
Nearing the end of the crawl here, the Wellington is on the Strand across from Waterloo Bridge:
CHEERS!
We started taking the signs we saw literally now:
More drunken group shots! This time at Belushi's:
Have spent many hours standing outside Belushi's during summer of the past few years. Was also the first pub I took Tans and Grant to, to meet all my mates all those years ago when I moved in with them!
Covent Garden group shot now!
Did someone say Tuk-tuk race?!
Ready, Steady...
As events transpired, Lindsey, Dennis and I were in the 3rd Tuk-Tuk, which promptly broke down right after the starting line. I yelled out "JUMP OUT", did so, along with Dennis (who started sprinting down the street towards the other two Tuk-Tuks) while I started pushing the Tuk-Tuk. After racing down the hill and down a couple of streets I jumped back in again, only to find the Lindsey wasn't in the Tuk-Tuk any more! After racing down a few more streets I managed to catch up with Dennis and I pointed out this fact. We ditched the Tuk-Tuk driver and started wandering back the way we came. Eventually a rather ragged looking Lindsey appeared in the distance. What happened was that Lindsey had jumped out of the Tuk-Tuk the same time as I did, but ended up landing on her head and grazing her shoulder and knees in the process. It took a few more drinks to dull that pain!
And the final shot of Grant and Tans with their mostly completed Monopoly board, outside Temple Walkabout!
See ya in a few months back in NZ guys! Sure was a pleasure spending a few years with ya in London.
