After Huka falls we went down to lake Taupo for a swim:
That evening, we went into Hamilton with my family and went on a Waipa Delta cruse down the Waikato river.
Here's Bridge St Bridge:
That bridge is fairly famous with all us Uni guys as you have to stagger over it at 3am to get back home, usually noting the odd shopping trolley, empty bottle of booze or church sign "accidentally" falling over the edge of the bridge while you try and aim for it with a stream of pee...
Here's my niece, Tyla!
Some more snaps of the river:
This was pretty cool (some dude obviously REALLY wanted his own boat ramp)
I love this snap of Tyla and myself:
Tyla navigating down the river:
Here are a few more misc snaps of NZ, one of Lake Mangamahoe in Taranaki (near Egmont Village and New Plymouth)

Here's a beach near Waiuku (up near Auckland)

There are a bunch of beaches in NZ that have black sand, especially around Taranaki (thanks the mountain blowing up a while back). In fact for me, seeing a non-black sand beaches is quite the novelty!
