We also visited this Citadel on our last day:

the citadel itself was up nice and high above Cairo. If you look in the top left of this pic you can make out the pyramids...

...which we went to later on to see the famous light and sound show they have there. The show itself sounded like it was recorded in the 70's which made us crack up when it started, but overall, was well worth going to, to see the pyramids at dusk:

They used lasers in the display:

You can easily make out Venus (or some other really bright star) in all the twilight and night shots:

Afterwards, right before we left to go to the airport we went back to the hotel and got somewhat pissed using up the rest of our Egyptian pounds. Here are some of the "ladies" in our group, posing and showing their "sexy face", that or they were showing what they thought of me (well it will be what they think of me now after posting this pic!):
